Spring is in the Air!

Spring is in the Air!

Alex Bill—As this very strange weather seems to be bouncing us around these last few weeks, I have been very ready for spring to come. With midterms over and the sun playing hide and seek, I am so ready to be outside and getting some things done! It’s pretty awesome seeing how the campus comes alive on those beautiful days, after long dreary winters and seas of faces that aren’t so happy to be trudging through snow, it really is a relief to see all of the wonderful people getting together and having fun outside. While this beautiful weather is a foreshadowing of the summer ahead, it also is a bit shocking to realize how close the semester is to coming to an abrupt close. With tests and homework, it’s a bit stressful trying to keep up with work and internships; often times I question my sanity when taking on so much! Recently I had an interview for the dream internship, a job working with the Rochester Police Department’s Main Information Technology sector! The interview went over very well, and I will know the prognosis by the end of the week! With all of this wonderful weather, I am very excited to be going on a multitude of adventures this summer, and if I had a fun job during the week, it would make those weekend adventures a lot less anxious to wait for. While the sun does like to go away recently (followed by cold weather and rain), spring is in the air, and I cannot wait to tackle whatever adventure comes my way after the semester concludes! Until then, final projects are beginning to roll in, and I must bunker down; it’s going to be a long ride.
