Brushing off the dust…literally!

So it’s been a while (a long while) since I’ve posted a new blog. So, let’s get up to speed!

Winter break has been awesome, but I am SO ready to go back to school, be productive, and see all my friends again! I wasn’t able to get a job over the break so I’ve been home a lot, making my way through my movie collection for the third time. Ok, I’m exaggerating. But you get the point. Lol. I did get to meet up with some friends from high school and it was great hearing how their first semester was. I also went back to my high school to visit some of my favorite teachers and so much has changed since I graduated in June, it’s unbelievable. It’s crazy to think that in just a year’s time this will be you!

I’m excited, and a little nervous, for what this semester will have in store! My favorite professor/mentor just told us that he was suddenly offered another job that he couldn’t refuse so he won’t be returning to Brockport, which kind of really sucks. So I’m a little nervous for the meteorology program and what’s going to happen, but I’m trying to keep an open mind! Change is good! On the flip side, my cousin is transferring to Brockport this semester so I can’t wait to help him learn his way around, etc.!

Overall I just can’t wait to be back at Brockport. I’ve been packing since Monday and have already gone grocery shopping for a few dorm essentials! A little a head of the game, but it’s only 2 more days!

P.S. Good luck to all of you applying to Brockport and your other college choices! Now is the time that you should be receiving your acceptance letters, which is very exciting! I hope you guys get accepted to your #1 college…which we all know is Brockport! 😉
