One of the things you hear college students complain about most is mid-term week. Well it actually isn’t as bad as everyone says it is, at least for me.
One thing I’ve learned so far is that mid-terms are different for every student. Yes, some might have exams back to back, but that’s not the case with me. All of my professors have 3 exams and then the final, so it’s pretty much one exam per month. The professors will call it a “mid-term” exam but it’s really not. So instead of having 4 exams in one week I have them scattered throughout October, which works out really well! Granted, when I get back from mid-semester break I have an exam that Friday and 2 the following Wednesday, but still, I have more time to study!
So as an incoming freshman, don’t be scared of the dreaded “mid-term week”, because it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be!
